Lil Wayne Hospitalized After Suffering Seizure-Like Symptoms On Flight

Earlier this evening, Lil Wayne made an emergency landing in Texas after suffering seizure-like symptoms on a private jet. According to TMZ, the rapper was transported to a local hospital to get treatment. He has checked out of the hospital and sources say he is doing well. I will update with more details when they are available.

Update: MTV has received a update regarding Lil Wayne’s condition. It seems he suffered from severe migraine and dehydration, not seizure-like symptoms.

“Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor-mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.”

Update #2: TMZ has learned that Lil Wayne has suffered another seizure on board a flight from Texas to LAX. He began to convulse and the plane was diverted to Louisiana where he was admitted to a local hospital for treatment. He has since then been released.

Update #3: A rep for Lil Wayne has released a statement saying he did not suffer another seizure but TMZ is standing by their story.
