The Weeknd Signs To Universal Republic Records

The bidding war for the The Weeknd is officially over. It looks like Abel will be taking his talents over to Universal Republic Records. The first release will be “Trilogy”, which is a remastered compilation of his 3 mixtapes, “House Of Balloons”, “Thursday” and “Echoes Of Silence”, along with 3 new bonus tracks. The album is expected to hit stores November 13th. The Weeknd will also be releasing a few music videos in the coming months and will be hitting the road for a fall tour.
