Kanye West Changes Name Of ‘Theraflu’ Track
Last week, Kanye West dropped his much talked about record ‘Theraflu’, named after the cold medicine. Shortly after, the company released a statement saying:
“We in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner”.
No word of any legal action was mentioned but now it seems that Kanye West has changed the track name and altered the artwork to take the product off it. The new name of the record is ‘Way Too Cold’ and can be heard here.
Update: The Theraflu people released the following statement:
“Novartis Consumer Health did not ask that the name be changed — that request would be way too cold.”
